Listen when I say this, DO NOT, I mean it, DO NOT go here unless.... you want delicious hot dogs and quite possibly the BEST Root Beer in the galaxy. I bought 5 smalls for my family and all agreed it was the best. +5 points for having the best, and a small is only 1.25 and a large 1.50?! Prices haven't gone up in 15 years! Love it! Forget what I started saying... TRY IT NOW!!!

I worked here , BJ and Jack were the best. A&W was the boom. I made real A&W root beer, 110 lbs of sugar at a time. It was the most spectacular process ever, that root beer was unbelievable. I sure hope nothing has changed.

It's a landmark, which is definitely worth visiting, but they do not take credit cards and their ATM was out of order. Great root beer on tap, but I wish they did Chicago-style. I guess this would be "Joliet-style" instead.

Very good. Couldn't ask for a better chili dog. They are awesome. Pair them up with a bag of chips and a large frosted mug of HOMEMADE root beer and you'll be glad you read this posting and took my advice and stopped at HEY HOTDOG.
